At Remarkable Property Management, we don’t stop with just a cursory background search of financial and public records. We dig deeper to understand what may have happened to a potential good tenant. And that can make all the difference for everyone involved.
For example, one of our landlord’s tenants had a bad spot on their history. The tenant explained they had been hospitalized from a car accident and had gotten behind on their bills during this time.
Through a full investigative background check, we were able to confirm that the tenant’s story was true. We were able to view the sequence of events unfold just as the tenant described them through accessing their credit reported history, rental history, and bank statements. We could also see that outside of this one-time period, the tenant had a very good history. As a result, the landlord accepted them as a tenant and has been very pleased with the relationship.
