Try Dog-Friendly Dining …
Take your dog out on the town, but remember not every restaurant patio is dog friendly.
Look for the City-permit sign at the patio entrance. The sign must state: “DOG FRIENDLY PATIO: DOG ACCESS TO OUTDOOR PATIO ONLY.” These restaurants have gone the extra mile to get a variance by meeting specific requirements to allow dogs on the patio.
Currently 12 dog-friendly restaurants can accommodate you and your furry friends:
- Sip & Savor, 3921 Coit Rd.
- Newks Eatery, 5960 W Parker Rd.
- Katy Trail Ice House Outpost, 4700 W Park Blvd.
- Lita's La Mexicana, 7224 Independence Rd.
- Grub Burger, 8255 Preston Rd. #300
- Brix Bar & Grill, 1410 K Ave. #1109A
- Lazy Dog, 8401 Preston Rd.
- Whiskey Cake, 3601 Dallas Pkwy.
- Eatzi's Market, 5967 W. Parker Rd.
- Urban Rio Cantina & Grill, 1000 E. 14th St.
- Hub Streat, 1212 14th St.
- The Filmore Pub, 1004 E. 15th St.
Help these restaurants by only going in and out with your pet through the outdoor patio entrance. Feed your pet before you head out because dogs are not allowed to eat on the patios. Keep your pet off the furniture and please follow responsible clean-up protocol. Together we can enjoy a safe and satisfying restaurant experience!
